Georgetown, TX. RV park on Georgetown Lake. This is another COE campground. We saw this deer the 1st day we set up there . After that we didn't see anything! According to Jim we were in a Cedar Forrest and animals did not take kindly to the setting. Cedars as we all know repel bugs, which was nice, but after TN I missed having animals to watch. One very nice thing was that each site had a covered picnic shelter. Both RV pad and shelter are concrete floored. Had a funny occurance. As I said we didn't see any animals however one morning we woke up, went outside and found a bag of peanuts on the ground. Bag open, peanuts neatly shelled. From the tracks we determined it was raccoons. Whats interesting is that out storage gates were down but not latched shut. We had 3 sealed bags of peanuts in a plastic WalMart bag. Somehow the coon(s) went under the gate, into the storage area, and took only one bag of peanuts out. Jim knew imediately they were smart raccoons because they took the White Sox bag and left the Cubs bag untouched. We had our 1st disagreement!

We stayed here from May 26th until June 1st. We are waiting for a start date for our new jobs a construction site security which should be within a week or so. Have decided to go see the Gulf of Mexico before we're on site for ??? months. I'll keep posting.
