Rockport, TX. Raintree RV Park. We wanted to see the Corpus Christie area but didn't want to be too close to the city. We found this park just east of CC and it had an affordable price tag, wifi access, and laundry facilities. It's amazing what full time RV'ers look for isn't it! The ducks are orange billed and their feathers range from light tans to dark browns. Very unusual coloring, but they're still ducks. The owner was starting to put pylons around one pond to stop erosion. I'm sure the ducks and turtles are not going to be happy loosing the easy access. Rockport is an artist community and there was a young man tent camping in the park who came to the area to pursue an artists life. Right now he's working for the park. He was quite good and I hope he achieves his dream.
